- Form 1040EZ is designed for single persons or married couples with no children to file a simple tax return. It is a single page form that is filed BY ITSELF; no other tax forms or schedules can be submitted with it except Form W-7 (ITIN Application).
- Only U.S. Citizens or resident aliens can file Form 1040EZ.
- The only income that can be reported is:
- Wagessalary reported on Form W-2.
- Interest income reported on Form 1099-INT, but only amounts of $1,500 or less.
